Danville Kitchen Makeover
Our client wanted to replace their dark oak cabinet and create a more transitional kitchen. We chose a modified shaker door style for all the cabinets. To add interest to the space, we used a light gray cabinet for the island. For our countertops, we used a Calacatta Quartzite. All the appliances were updated and rather than a gas cooktop, we chose to go with an induction cooktop. The sleek black cooktop complemented the recessed stainless steel hood. We opened up the wall between the dining room and kitchen to allow for an eating counter at the island. We also placed a larger window at the sink for more natural light. We kept the existing flooring and windows at the corner window bench.
